Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. Her family was raised within an ethnically diverse family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and father Elroy have both been Malaysian. Her siblings include two brothers and an older sister. In the wake of turmoil in Sri Lanka, her family relocated to Bahrain in the early 1980s. After completing high school in Bahrain she was awarded an Scholarship to the University of Sydney to pursue a Media and Communications Degree in Sydney, Australia. Having a passion for cultures and languages she also was a part of the Berlitz school of languages, in which she was able to learn Spanish and improve her French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 was crown in March 2006; she also participated in Miss Universe 2006 In the wake of her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka win, Padukone entered the television world and hosted a show about Sri Lankan businesses known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone (the child of badminton player Prakash Padukone) was born and raised in Bangalore. In her teens, she participated in national badminton events, but she backed off the sport to become a designer. Padukone was born in Mangalore in India. Her native language Konkani is where she comes from. Padukone Village is situated inside Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi District of Karnataka within India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international badminton player who has retiring. Her mom is a travel agent.
